Our Mission Has Only Just Begun

After 360 years of excellence in supporting priests and future priests, the Sulpicians are not resting. The Society continues to seek ways to improve seminary education for the priests of the future, to create innovative ongoing support for current clergy, to help to spread the word of God in areas such as Zambia, and to provide simple, but secure care for retired members who have served the Church for so long.

Our founder, Fr. Jean Jacques Olier, was inspired by Pentecost, the sending of Jesus’ disciples on a worldwide mission. We are the heirs of Fr. Olier’s vision, and we seek, each day, to be disciples on mission in and for our Church. In this sense, our mission is an ongoing venture of seeking to inspire, support, and guide those who would be servant leaders in our Church today.
